On the team's play:
"We could have made better decisions in our counter attacks. We really let them off the hook in the first half by basically giving them that goal to equalize the game, and after that it was just a very sloppy game. There are many things that you can say about the goal but certainly one of them is miscommunication."
On if Dane Richards' speed could have been used more:
"I think we could have played more effectively, and we could have created a lot more problems if we would have played balls in behind as opposed to playing in to his feet."
On the team's play without the injured players like Reyna and Angel:
"It has been difficult but I think we have managed to get some good results without them and we're very pleased with the team spirit and the team effort.

On the result:
"I'm very disappointed. We had the game in our hand but I think the team had a little complacency after we went 1-0 up, and we give away a soft goal. Happy with a point away from home, but can see the players faces: very disappointed."
On the Chivas USA goal:
"It was just a miscommunication in the back. Goldthwaite was just trying to play to Parke and he was going up the field and Razov was sharp enough to pounce on it and he scored."
On if he could've done more:
"I'm disappointed. I got behind them a lot in the first half, and we have nothing to show for it. We should have at least scored one more goal, it would put the game away, but that's soccer. A missed opportunity, I guess."

On the result:
"You go up 1-0 and you have a chance to carry that on to the second half and you give up a childish goal like that, I'm disappointed that the game ends like that. We defended properly, we had our breakaways, they had had a couple opportunities through set pieces but other than that we didn't give them a whole lot, so I'm disappointed. We give up one goal, and usually when you give up one goal against Chivas on their field it's not that bad, but when you give it up like this, it's a bit "
On if he was shooting on his goal:
"No, but we practice this a lot. We know that if somebody gets a head on it, it's always on target, and it's hard for the goalie, and if it skips, especially on a fast field, then we try to aim for the second post. It did skip, and a great goalie even like Guzan couldn't handle that. So it was good, it was a training ground move."

On the result:
"Obviously, very disappointed with the result for us tonight. We got a point and we lose the game given the fact that we give up a goal in the first half and then we didn't play well, we created nothing in the first half offensively and we went in at halftime 1-1. They make a mistake and we scored a goal and actually I felt they scored a lucky goal too and that sums up the half."
On the second half:
"In the second half I thought we were a little bit better. We pushed forward, we tried to pin them back, and we had a couple opportunities to score a goal. We didn't, but overall I don't think we created enough opportunities here tonight to give ourselves a real good chance of winning this game. I think 1-1 might have been a fair result."
On missing players:
"That's been the case for us all year. Every week seems something to happen that we have to shuffle the lineup and play people in different spots, and that was the same thing tonight. We had Wicky last week and he goes down and wasn't available tonight, so we had to go somewhere else. Nagamura was suspended so we had to get somebody else again. We're fighting really hard to get some results until everybody gets back here but the way it's going right now we can't whine about it, it's the way it is."
CHIVAS USA GOALKEEPER BRAD GUZAN
On the goal against him:
"Good ball in by van den Burgh. As a goalie you've got to hold your position. If someone gets a touch on it you've got to be able to react, you can't just assume it's going to go over everyone. Unfortunately it took a bounce, and side netting."
On if the goal was a fluke:
"No, you see that happen all over the world. We tell our guys when they're serving a ball, when you serve it you try to put it so that happens. If no one gets a touch on it, it still has a chance to go in the goal. That's what you're trying to do. So again, I don't think it's a freaky play. We're unable to get a head on it, get a touch on it, and unfortunately I couldn't get there."
