KANSAS CITY WIZARDS HEAD COACH CURT ONALFO
On the game:
"It shows a lot that we had three players out, two of which are national team players; I have said from the beginning that I think we can play with any team in the league. Here we played D.C. United, who is arguably the best team in the league, and we came away with a draw. We had the lead, and would have liked to come away with the win, but now we need to focus on our last two games."
KANSAS CITY WIZARDS DEFENDER TYSON WAHL
On the game:
"I thought that we contained them for most of the game, but we just let off for that one second and it ended up costing us. We definitely aren't satisfied with the one point. We are going to come out next game determined to get all three points."
KANSAS CITY WIZARDS MIDFIELDER MICHAEL HARRINGTON
On the game:
"I think we played well overall. You know we got the early goal, but we haven't been able to keep shutouts. [Christian] Gomez had a great individual effort to get the equalizer. We just couldn't find another goal. It seems like we have been playing great all year, and especially in the last three games. We are due for a win; I think everyone believes we can finish the season out strong by taking the next two games."
D.C. UNITED HEAD COACH TOM SOEHN
On the first half:
"We did all right. We didn't give away a lot. Unfortunately the goal was a mistake, (Bryan) Namoff missed clearing a ball and then gets cut out. But I thought overall our plan was pretty solid."
On the second half:
"I actually thought we were better in the second half with the ball. Obviously, Jaime always adds that element, because he's a quality forward. We sprayed the ball around a little bit better. Luci (Luciano) had a bit of a tough day, but we're pretty weary on the travel and he's had a lot of minutes. We've got a good week before the next one. We'll give them a couple days off, and then back to work."
On Christian Gomez:
"Christian I thought was very effective today, he was playing in a spot he's normally not accustomed to up top and I thought he did well. The goal he scored was pretty classy.:
On the chances of winning the Supporters' Shield:
"We have two home games, and if we win out no one can catch us. We've got the tiebreaker on Chivas who's chasing us right now. We control our own destiny, and that's what you want as a team and as a coach."

On the game:
"I think that we had some opportunities to get the win, but we are happy with the tie especially on the road. Also considering that we had just come from Guadalajara, we will take the draw."

On the game:
"Coming off five games in 14 days is tough, so we will take the draw. We will take this result after all the travel and being down a goal. With that being said I think in the first 25 minutes we had two or three great chances to get a goal, but [Kevin] Hartman came up big."
