D.C. UNITED 4, FC DALLAS 0

FC DALLAS HEAD COACH STEVE MORROW:

On the team's performance:
"Concerned, always concerned when we give up goals. I think we gave up four very bad goals tonight. I thought we started the game well; first few minutes was good intensity, good level. I don't think we played horrible all night, but they scored the goals, we didn't."

FC DALLAS FORWARD DENILSON:

On the team's performance:
"I thought at first we were good. The thing is, it's not easy when you give up a goal in the first five minutes. It makes things difficult. All the work you do throughout the week, what the coach plans for, when they score on you in the first five minutes, the tendency is for the team to work more to recover the game, which gives the opponent more space to play. We had the bad fortune to be losing five minutes in, but like I've said, we just need to keep working. The team is in a good position, and we still have games ahead of us to be able to recover the points lost today.

On his first game:
"From Brazil, I saw that the team was playing well, had positive results. But it's normal. In sports you have to be prepared to lose also. Its disappointing to lose in my first game, but it's OK, we just need to move on and keep working."

D.C. UNITED HEAD COACH TOM SOEHN:

On scoring early:
"We have a habit lately of getting an early goal and it's a lot easier to play when you get one early. We had a feeling they might be a little flat for having time off and made sure that in the first 15 minutes, we wanted to set the tempo of the game. I thought we did a good job of that."

D.C. UNITED MIDFIELDER BEN OLSEN:

On tonight's game:
"I don't think we played the real Dallas tonight. You could tell they had some guys coming back from injuries. The Dallas we've seen is a lot better than that tonight. I don't think we should get too concerned with the 4-0 win. It wasn't a great night for them. On the other side, we did some good finishing and the times we had our chances, we did pretty well with them and that's the difference sometimes in these games."
