CHIVAS USA HEAD COACH PREKI
On the game:
"I thought that we started pretty slow, basically, handing them two goals. After that, it was an uphill climb. I give my guys a lot of credit. They showed a lot of character tonight to come back from two-nothing down against the best team in the league, that shows how far we have come as a group. Obviously, we have never beat D.C., or even taken a point from them, so this is good for our confidence as well."
On the team's attempts at getting a third goal:
"We were trying to win. I think we could have gotten that third goal. We got that offside call. I think we did very well at the end. We dominated all the second half, but we need to give them credit, they are a good team."
CHIVAS USA DEFENDER LAWSON VAUGHN
On his goal:
"It is my first [MLS] goal. I just tried to keep the ball low, on target. It was a great ball by Sacha. He had it and took on a couple of defenders, as he always does and does it so well. I saw it and he just laid it out perfectly for me."
On the comeback:
"D.C. United has been such a talented team this year, as well as through the whole existence of the league, and we've been able to come back from that deficit, that shows the character and the talent that we have."
CHIVAS USA FORWARD ANTE RAZOV
On his goal:
"They all count. How they go in, or what part of you they hit -- it's all in the life of a goal scorer."
On the result:
"I thought we could have won this one, because we were the better team, for sure. To come back from two-nil down, against a team like them, is a positive sign. We started a little flat tonight, but in the second half we came out with a little more energy."

On scoring opportunities:
"They had chances. We were fortunate when we had a two-goal lead but due to certain circumstances they got it back. We got a tie result on the road."
On D.C.'s prospects of making the playoffs:
"It's too early to say there's a lot of soccer left to be played before we get to that point. We beat them in our place so right now we won the series. We won one and we tied one. They've come along way they are a good team but we won the series."
On Luciano Emilio's performance:
"It's more than just Luciano. Luciano is the beneficiary of a lot of good players around him. He creates a lot of opportunities, he is opportunistic. When he gets a chance he finishes it off. You name it, he's got a lot of supporting cast."
D.C. UNITED GOALKEEPER TROY PERKINS
On giving up a two-goal lead:
"We stopped for a little bit. We've got to do a better job in killing off a game; keeping the ball and making them work to find it and be a little smarter with and without the ball."
On Chivas' first goal from Ante Razov:
"He [Razov] wasn't even in my way. I just hit it straight down the field. He just came across, stretched his leg out and it hit him right on the side of his leg."

On the team's performance:
"As a team, we work to create goals and sometimes we get them in the beginning of the game. Those goals by Chivas USA changed the game. We tried to keep making plays in order to score."
On the 2-2 tie:
"We didn't have enough to win the game, Chivas USA's first goal caused us to lose our concentration. We were playing a good game, but in the end, no team can accept leading a game 2-0 and ending up tied. Obviously we are leaving sad because of the result."
On Chivas USA's performance:
"They demonstrated a lot of strength. They came out with the desire to win. They did a good job and as a team they tried to play good soccer."
