CHIVAS USA HEAD COACH PREKI

On the first half:

"We knew going into the game that we have to find a way to win the game. But I didn't feel like we got a grip of the game in the first 10-15 minutes. I thought they were the better team, I thought they were moving the ball a bit better than us, I thought we were nervous, but I was expecting that given the fact that we've changed quite a few players from the other night to tonight. I thought it was going to take us a little time until we settled. Then we settled and we had some moments but obviously the most important moment came when they missed a great opportunity. They hit the crossbar, we got lucky on the play and basically we survived."

On the changes in the second half:

"Going into halftime we changed a thing or two, we adjusted a little bit, put a couple guys on the field and I thought we were way better in the second half. We were moving the ball better, everybody got involved, everybody's confidence got a little higher and we were pushing the tempo. We were very unlucky not to score in the first few minutes, and Bornstein missed the header from 2-3 yards out. We played better than in the first half and everything is in our hands when we play our last game against New England."

On Ante Razov's goalscoring run:

"He's on a great run and we hope he continues on that run. His movement is getting better, he's getting in good spots, he's getting in the box, and he was unlucky not to score against Pachuca with his head, the goalkeeper makes a great save. And tonight he makes sure he scores, Sacha plays him a great ball and he makes a good run and he's still on a good run when you talk about the goals and hopefully he'll continue to do that."

CHIVAS USA FORWARD ANTE RAZOV

On the win:

"It was a hard-fought win against a good team. We knew we were in for a fight. We hung in there in the first half -- it wasn't our best half but we hung in there. We dodged two bullets but it's nice to get a couple bounces going our way and we were able to nip it at the end."

On his goal:

"It was good work out on the wing with Sacha and we've developed pretty good chemistry as of late, especially. I just wanted to try to set my guy up and get to the near post, and fortunately I was able to get a piece of it, I also think the defender got a piece of it too. Great ball."
