HOUSTON DYNAMO COACH DOMINIC KINNEAR

On the game:
"Throat's sore, for the reason you think it is. Frustrating night, a lot of chances, need a goal to break us out of our slump; obviously, they came here for a reason, tie the game, get a point. Obviously they got what they were looking for, so you know it makes it pressure for us, to try to score the first goal because if you do, it takes teams away from what they're trying to accomplish. So give credit to Chivas, they came in here with a plan, and executed, they got help by not getting punished for wasting a considerable amount of time, but it's important for us that we need to score some goals. Because if we do, then obviously it changes the game, and plan A goes out the window, and teams have to go to plan B out there and hopefully it opens the field for us. But frustrations all around."

On keeping players positive:
"You don't say too much tonight or tomorrow, you know Monday, I think it's a pretty mature locker room, so we understand what we're doing. As far as four points out of six games, four ties, and you know if you look at it, you play those games a little different. You may come out with more points you never know, so just the bounces going our way, the goalkeeper making some good saves, good defending, you know some calls that the referees that some put in their pocket that benefit you, and we're just not getting the right bounce. But the effort and the attitude of the guys are spot on and it's never in question. And that message is always passed on from the coaching staff."

On the frustration from the physical fouls:
"I think the first two yellow cards of the game were not worthy of yellow cards, and when that happens it changes the complexion of the game, you have players asking for a little more than a foul at some points -- in previous instances it was deemed to be a yellow card, so tempers flare up that way. I think when there's a considerable amount of time wasting, it builds up a lot of frustration when you're trying to take quick free kicks it gets annoying as well, so they came in to spoil the game and spoil the attitude and I think they frustrated us with the help of some other people."

HOUSTON DYNAMO MIDFIELDER RICHARD MULROONEY

On the game:
"Two teams were battling, well, one team was trying to go for the goal, one team was trying to go for the tie. Unfortunately, the team that wanted the tie got it, so ball didn't bounce so well tonight. We didn't lose, but we didn't win, and when we are home, we look for the three points, so it's frustrating. But the guys were doing the right thing, we just weren't rewarded for it, and so, we go back to work on Monday, and hopefully get it against Colorado on Saturday."

On the feelings after the game:
"Well, disappointed, we didn't win, but we didn't lose, but it feels like a loss, because we're at home. We're at the the bottom of the conference right now, but saying that, I do think we're doing the right things, we're not playing ugly soccer we're not getting the wins, so like I said back to practice on Monday and we need to work on finishing, defense, everything. But we're undefeated at home, but we want to win, not tie."

HOUSTON DYNAMO GOALKEEPER PAT ONSTAD

On the game:
"Well, right now, we're fighting hard, the effort's there, we're committed to the cause, it's not like anyone's quitting on anybody. We're just not getting that lucky bounce, or that ricochet off that free kick, or if Corey [Ashe] gets that goal, but I give him credit, it was a good save. But things just aren't going our way right now."

On play in the game:
"We're defending a lot better as a team now. I think guys are taking the responsibility off set pieces, in the course of the flow of the game, guys are chasing things down. Defensively we've tightened up, but unfortunately, we're just not finding the net right now."

CHIVAS USA HEAD COACH PREKI

On the result:
"Both teams created very little. We had a few chances, they had a few chances. At the end, I thought it was a fair result."

0n his team's play:
"We knew it was going to be a tight game, a hard-fought game. I'm actually proud of my group for the way they played, the way they came out, the way we defended. We had a couple of really good chances. In some ways, I thought we had the better chances, quicker chances. I'm proud of the way we played, the way we defended as a group, finally. We played like we played last year."

On what he emphasized after allowing five goals to LA last week:
"Keeping the block away together, making sure to reorganize and be disciplined, making it hard on the other team."

On the referee:
"I felt that maybe we should have gotten a couple of calls, but we didn't, and that's the name of the game."

CHIVAS USA MIDFIELDER SACHA KLJESTAN

On playing in Houston:
"You know when you come to Houston it's going to be hard. They're still one of the best teams in the league despite having four points now. We know it's a tough place to play and we set out with the mentality that we've got to fight for every ball and try to win every ball and make it hard on the really good guys out there like De Rosario and Ching."

On the defense:
"I think we did a good job of limiting their opportunities tonight, we just have to be a little bit better on our offensive end."

On the result:
"I think it's a good result, especially after three straight losses. Hopefully this point just starts moving us forward. It's good getting a point in Houston."

0n his team's play at the end of the game:
"In a place like Houston, it's hard. It's hard to win. They're a good team and when we go down a man, we're dropping even more guys behind the ball. When it's a late game and it's tough, we've got to just try to kill of the game a little bit and get that point."

0n his team's effort:
"This year, we haven't been fully committed to our game. Tonight we really showed that we're fully committed to each other. We made it hard on De Rosario, and I think we were successful tonight in establishing what we wanted to on the field defensively."

On the offense:
"I thought we had some decent chances. The shot that Ante [Razov] ripped from the outside, Boswell makes a good block. They made some good plays defensively as well, but we really have to get better on the goal if we want to get three points."

CHIVAS USA GOALKEEPER BRAD GUZAN

On the game:
"It's always a physical game. That's the style that they play. They always bring a hard, physical game, and we know that. It's no surprise. To compete with them, you have to be able to battle. You have to be able to get in on tackles and get in on tackles and get in on headballs and all that. You have to know that it's not always going to be pretty, and it's going to be ugly at times as well."

0n his team's 3-game losing streak:
"Keep the right mentality and keep working hard. We're a good team, and I think the last two games are the first times that we've had our starting lineup from last year, which is good. We just have to keep plugging along. The game here is actually a good result for us."

On the defense:
"We cleaned up a lot of things on defense, and all the credit goes to the back four. You saw Lawson get smacked in the face, goes out with a broken nose. That's what it's about. Claudio, same thing. Claudio was the man toninght. Claudio played very, very well, Shavar played very well and Johnny played very well, as well."
