REAL SALT LAKE 2, LOS ANGELES GALAXY 1

LOS ANGELES GALAXY COACH FRANK YALLOP:

On the game:

"We had a great first half, I felt. We should have scored more than one goal. We had great chances that we didn't finish. And like always in football, if you don't finish your chances when your on top, you usually get punished, and I think that's what happened here tonight. It was disappointing. We hit the crossbar, and then Robbie scores with the equalizer, and then the winning goal was a mistake if you like. We put in the effort; there is no question in that. We did lose the game, and that was disappointing."

LOS ANGELES GALAXY DEFENDER CHRIS KLEIN:

On the result:

"I echo what Frank says. This is proud bunch of guys. We've been in this every couple of days for two months. The first half tonight - we've played about as well as we have in a long time. And we came out 1-0 in halftime. But, we have to take care of things in the second half. They were opportunistic with their chances. We have to win these games. As Frank said, there is a proud group in the locker room, and we can hang out heads high. You can expect us to come out fighting again on Saturday."

On Landon Donovan missing the penalty kick:

"I looked at Landon and told him to bury it in there. And Landon has saved this team and our national team many, many times. And, he's the best player, in my opinion, that this country has ever had, and for him to step up and want to take that again shows the type of person he is, and the type of courage he has. He stood up in the locker room and took responsibility for it, and if we had one guy to take a penalty to put us into something, I think I would still chose Landon."

LOS ANGELES DEFENDER MIKE RANDOLPH:

On the result:

"I thought we had that one in the bag for sure, especially the way we played Pachuca. I thought this was going to be a stepping-stone for us. I'm definitely disappointed with the result."

On the team's performance:

"I was very encouraged the way we came out the first half. I thought we were definitely going to add a few more in the second half. We were just a bit unlucky with the finishing and on defense. That's just soccer basically."

REAL SALT LAKE COACH JASON KREIS:

On the team's performance:

"We are very proud of this group. We aren't only proud of the players that started the game or the players that came in and contributed, but we are proud of the whole group - all 28 players on the roster. We think that everyone is contributing in a way. Whether it's the whole 90 minutes, whether it's in the last 30 minutes or they made an assist or goal - everybody is contributing in the training session to make the whole group better. It's very nice that the guys now have a tangible result for that."

REAL SALT LAKE FORWARD ROBBIE FINDLEY:

On the team's performance:

"The first half wasn't too good, but we kept in it and played hard. That can get you a win sometimes - just playing hard and aggressive."

REAL SALT LAKE GOALKEEPER NICK RIMANDO:

On saving the penalty kick:

"I knew if he made that the game would be pretty much over. We've been having trouble coming back, so I thought if I saved that we would get a little extra boost. Some confidence going forward, and maybe get that tying goal. I went the right away, and luckily it was within reach and I got a big hand to it."

REAL SALT LAKE DEFENDER EDDIE POPE:

On scoring the winning goal:

"That was great. (Eskandarian) took the freekick and I figured he would hit it the same place as the other one, so a lot of favoring that side. It was a good feeling. More than anything else, we were able to show a lot of character to come back and win. Two wins in a row - we are trying to build on that."
