SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes selected their initial 10 players from the 2007 Major League Soccer Expansion Draft held Wednesday, November 21, 2007. The Earthquakes selected one player each from 10 of the 13 MLS teams. Kansas City Wizards, Real Salt Lake and the Colorado Rapids were the three teams that did not have a player selected in the draft. Each of the 10 teams was allowed to protect 11 players, leaving all others unprotected.
