FIRE RESERVES TO PLAY D.C. UNITED RESERVES SUNDAY


The Chicago Fire Reserves will take on the D.C. United Reserves in an MLS Reserve Division match Sunday, June 8 at TOYOTA PARK. Kickoff for the game is 10 a.m., and the event is open to the public.

FIRE ACADEMY TO PLAY FOUR GAMES THIS WEEK


The Chicago Fire Academy is back to training after a weekend off, and will play four games this week at TOYOTA PARK. The U-16 Academy team (11-4-3) and the U-18 Academy team (9-4-6) currently sit in 3rd place and 4th place respectively in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy League.

FIRE PDL DEFEAT TORONO LYNX 1-0


The Chicago Fire PDL defeated the Toronto Lynx 1-0 on the road at the University of Toronto Friday night. The Fire Premier collected the match's only goal on the night in the 9th minute as forward Peri Marosivic (Michigan) collected a pass from Mike Ferguson (Loyola - Chicago) and scored. Goalkeeper Pat Sperry posted the shutout.

The Fire PDL will play their next match on Wed. June 4th in Fort Wayne, IN, facing the Fever for the second time this season. The Fire PDL boasts a record of 4-1-0 (12 points) and is in first place in the Midwest Division of the Central Conference.


SUPER 20'S DROP SEASON OPENER IN TORONTO


The Chicago Fire Super 20 squad dropped their season opener 4-2 on the road this Friday as the team traveled to Toronto, taking on the Toronto Lynx at the University of Toronto Varsity Centre. The Super 20's went undefeated last year in the eight games of their inaugural season, defeating the Super 20's of both D.C. United and Red Bull New York on their way to the North American Conference Championship match. The Fire Super 20's finished second overall last season, behind the Player Development Academy of New Jersey. The Chicago Fire Super 20's return to action on Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m. in Fort Wayne, IN against Penns Forest.

CHICAGO FIRE JUNIORS IN ILLINOIS STATE CUP SEMIFINALS


The Chicago Fire Juniors U-14 Boys lost in the Illinois State Cup semifinals on Saturday, falling 2-1. The U-15, U-16, and U-19 age groups have advanced to the semifinals and will play this weekend in Rockford. The U-15 CFJ Boys team is one of eight teams that has been invited to play in the National League beginning this fall.
