HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Dynamo Convoy, presented by Gallery Furniture is quickly becoming a great success. Hundreds of cars are already lined up to participate, and now there is an even better reason to support the "Men in Orange" in Frisco: Gallery Furniture has taken things to another level, as they will now be covering the parking expenses at Pizza Hut Park for all who participate.
This represents a $20 savings, and is one more great reason to join the convoy.
Gallery Furniture is rallying Dynamo fans for a historic convoy up I-45 to Frisco, TX for the MLS Cup Finals. The Dynamo will play the New England Revolution on Sunday, November 12th at 2:30 PM at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX (ABC Ch. 13, 790 AM, 850 AM, 101.7 FM).
The convoy is being planned as the largest in the history of professional sports. It will originate at Gallery Furniture (45-N and Tidwell St., 6006 North Freeway, Houston, 77076) and end at Pizza Hut Park.
"The fact that Gallery Furniture is offering to cover the parking expense of fans traveling up to Frisco is a great incentive for Houston to rally behind the Dynamo at MLS Cup" said team president Oliver Luck. "Once again, on behalf of our organization and fans, Gallery Furniture deserves a big 'thanks' for making this convoy a reality."
"Our fans are truly passionate and this will be a fun and spirited demonstration of Dynamo pride," added Luck. "It will be unlike anything MLS has ever seen before, and we will bring a strong home field presence to Pizza Hut Park."
Check-in will take place at Gallery Furniture from 6:30 - 7:00 AM. A free breakfast will be served during that time. The convoy is expected to depart at 7:30 AM and arrive at Pizza Hut Park around 11:30 AM.
Fans will be provided with supplies to help decorate their cars in the teams "GO ORANGE!" playoff campaign.
Upon arrival to the stadium, and besides paying for parking for all who participate in the convoy, Gallery Furniture will treat them with a free pre-game tailgate party outside of Pizza Hut Park. Food, courtesy of El Toro Restaurants, will be served but fans must bring their own beverages.
Gallery Furniture will also provide all convoy participants with a free Dynamo T-Shirt.
There is no cost to join the convoy. Fans, however, will be required to purchase their own MLS Cup tickets. Tickets can be purchased by logging onto www.houstondynamo.com
