Washington, D.C. - D.C. United announced today only 400 tickets remain for the August 9 match versus the Los Angeles Galaxy. While individual tickets have sold out, this limited number of seats remains for purchase via ticket packages and special promotions. Tickets may only be purchased by calling D.C. United at 202-587-5000.
Pro-rated full season ticket packages are still available and include lower level tickets to the Galaxy game as part of the offer. The package includes the final seven MLS regular season home games and United's first round Copa Sudamericana match against CD Guadalajara. Additionally, tickets for the August 9 game can still be obtained by purchasing a 5-Game MLS Stars package, which offers two different premium level seating options. The first package offers the following five matches: Aug. 9 vs. the Los Angeles Galaxy (upper level only), Sept. 9 vs. Taylor Twellman and the New England Revolution, Sept. 12 vs. Alecko Eskandarian and Real Salt Lake, Oct. 20 vs. the Columbus Crew featuring a reunion of United's 1997 MLS Cup Championship side and Nov. 14 at the 2007 MLS Cup. The second version provides the following games: Aug. 9 vs. Los Angeles Galaxy (upper level only), Aug. 22 vs. Juan Pablo Angel and the New York Red Bulls, Oct. 13 vs. Cuauhtemoc Blanco and the Chicago Fire, Oct. 20 vs. Guillermo Barros Schelotto and the Columbus Crew and Nov. 14 at MLS Cup.
Finally, tickets to the Galaxy match may be obtained by registering for the inaugural D.C. United Coaches Symposium. The program, hosted by United in conjunction with Brazil's Clube Atletico Mineiro, will take place August 6-10 at RFK Stadium. The five-day event is structured to provide coaches with instruction and insight into the development of the young soccer player from U-12 to the professional level. The $145 option includes an upper level ticket for the August 9 match-up. Interested parties may register for the Symposium at dcunited.com. Please note: the program is intended for coaches only and Galaxy tickets will be distributed at the symposium.
