The Wizards philosophy requires opportunistic positioning for getting the ball and then advancing quickly, and Myers has received a full baptism.
"Knowing how to put myself in a defensive position to help us turn over the ball and then attack right when we win it, try to go on a counter, [has been key]," he said. "It's finding that position inside the back line on defense and finding that link when we have the ball on offense."
Jewsbury is making adjustments too as he, center back Conrad and Tyson Wahl, who has started at left back in both Florida scrimmages, adjust their shape in a three-man system.
