More celebrities to play for charity

SECAUCUS, NJ --
Red Bull New York have announced additional participants for the celebrity game that will be among the pre-match festivities as the team opens its 2008 Major League Soccer (MLS) season against the Columbus Crew at 7:30 PM on Saturday, April 5 at Giants Stadium (TV: Fox Soccer Channel, Spanish Radio: WADO 1280).

The Red Bulls will donate a portion of each game ticket sold to the Worldwide Children's Foundation of New York and the Books for Kids Foundation. The game kicks off at 5:00 PM.


The following celebrities have been added to the match roster:


• Luigi di Biagio - An Italian defensive midfielder, who played on the Italian World Cup squad in 1998 and 2002
• Giuseppe "Beppe" Signori - One of the top scorers in Serie A history, played for Italy's World Cup 1994 squad, and now covers Serie A on Italian Rai Radio
• Angelo Peruzzi - Former Italian National Team and Serie A goalkeeper, member of 2006 World Cup winning side
• Veronica Contreras - Sports Anchor for Telemundo 47
• Brian Kilmeade - Anchor of Fox & Friends
• Salvador Cruz - Sports Anchor for Univision 41
• Ethan Zohn - Winner of Survivor: Africa, Contestant on Survivor: All-Stars, Co-founder of Grass Roots Soccer
• Jenna Morasca - Winner of Survivor: Amazon, Contestant on Survivor: All-Stars
• Jack Brewer - Former NFL player for five seasons (Vikings, Giants, Eagles, and Cardinals), Founder of the Jack Brewer Foundation
• Kevin O'Connor - Contestant Amazing Race: Season 1
• Mike Nugent - Place kicker for the New York Jets
• Mark Lisi - Former MetroStar/Red Bull
• Steve Jolley - Former MetroStar/Red Bull
• Jordan Cila - Former Red Bull


The three former Italian National Team members' participation is also in support of their foundation: Fair Gama, a worldwide charitable organization dedicated to fair play and sportsmanship.
