Moor to appear for U.S. men's team

FC Dallas defender Drew Moor was called by U.S. Men's National Team head coach Bob Bradley Wednesday for the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying game versus Barbados, which will be played on Sunday, June 22 at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. CT and the match will be broadcast live on ESPN Classic and Galavision. Moor will report to the team tonight night in Miami, Florida and rejoin FC Dallas on Monday, June 23.

A Dallas-native, Moor has made four appearances for the U.S. National team, including two this year, the most recent on February 6, 2008 in a 2-2 draw against Mexico in Houston. In his fourth season with FC Dallas, Moor has played in every minute of the past 12 games, scoring one goal and adding one assist from his right back position.

The U.S. opened 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying on June 15 by opening the first leg of their Second Round two-game series against Barbados with an historic 8-0 victory at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. The eight-goal win is the largest margin of victory ever in U.S. Men's National Team history, and ties the record for the most goals scored by the U.S. in a match.
