MLS exhibition roundup -- Feb. 12

Toronto FC played their second exhibition match of their Florida camp on Monday and earned their second draw, playing to a scoreless tie with Odense Boldklub of the Danish Superliga at the IMG Academies.

Jeff Cunningham and Danny Dichio did their part to press the TFC attack up front, challenging Odense goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard several times throughout the first half. Midfielder Marvell Wynne also pressed the action, weaving in and out of defenders to create a number of scoring opportunities throughout.

Goalkeepers Brian Edwards and Greg Sutton combined to keep Odense off the board, Sutton surviving a penalty kick from the Danish side in the 71st minute after a tackle by Wynne.

TFC manager Mo Johnston came away satisfied by his team's effort.

"I thought it was a very workmanlike team," Johnston said. "I felt they were very organized, got behind the ball and we created a lot of chances. We pressed when we needed to; we defended when we needed to. It's not easy playing against European teams and it was a good exercise."

TFC and Odense are scheduled to meet again in another exhibition on Thursday morning.
