HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Dynamo are excited to announce Missouri City United Soccer Association as the latest Student of the Game partner club.

The Student of the Game program is designed to provide youth soccer clubs in the metro- Houston area with a series of educational, motivational and inspirational benefits to assist players but also coaches and parents. The recruitment and retention of parent volunteers remains a challenge for most youth soccer organizations. The "Student of the Game" program provides clubs with various tools aimed at assisting in this area. One aspect of the program is a special Club-Night-Out at Robertson Stadium for a Dynamo home game. The purpose of this outing is to give youth players the opportunity to watch a game live, learn from professionals and provide parents an opportunity to meet each other in a social setting. The "Club Night Out" is the ultimate team-building event that will allow registered soccer players from Missouri City United Soccer Association an opportunity to come out to a Houston Dynamo home game.

The Dynamo Student of the Game program was established in an effort to provide South Texas youth soccer leagues with an education-based curriculum that will further enhance youth players, coaches and parents' soccer knowledge and appreciation for the game. The Dynamo program motivates and educates by providing partner leagues with exclusive access to the Dynamo coaches and players through coaching clinics and appearances, among other benefits.

"We have been a member of the soccer community for over 30 years, and we are proud and excited to be associated with the Houston Dynamo", said William Ocampo Vice President and GM of Missouri City United SA. "Being a SOG partner reinforces our commitment to the youth of our community and enables us to cultivate the talents and skills of our youth in support of the Dynamo", said Ocampo.

"The commitment Missouri City United has made to their players, coaches, and parents is commendable", said Dynamo President & General Manager Oliver Luck. "We are thrilled to partner with a club that shows such support to the Dynamo and soccer as a whole " said Luck.

"The growth of soccer in the Missouri City area is a testament to the quality of the Missouri City United Soccer Association and its officers and volunteers. We are proud to welcome them as the latest Student of the Game partner. Several other youth soccer organizations in the area are currently considering the Student of the Game program. At the current rate of interest, this program will be fully subscribed before kick-off of the 2007 MLS season." said Dynamo, Sr. VP Sales and Marketing, Steven N. Powell.
