Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA teaming up with WOR Radio 710 AM hosts to help start Red Bulls homestand

SECAUCUS, NJ - Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA will team up with WOR Radio 710 AM to help the Red Bulls kickoff their five game homestand starting with the New England Revolution on Saturday, July 14.


Riyo Mori (Miss Universe), Rachel Smith (Miss USA) and Katie Blair (Miss Teen USA) will be accompanied by Joe Bartlett and George Meade from WOR Radio 710 AM for the official coin toss.


Mori, a 20-year-old from Japan was crowned Miss Universe on May 28, 2007 at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City. Mori is determined to stay in the New York area after her reign as Miss Universe to become the first Japanese Radio City Rockette.


Miss USA hails from Clarksburg, Tennessee and has become a fan of soccer in recent months. A graduate from Belmont University Cum Laude with a BS in Journalism, the 22-year-old is an avid philanthropist having helped organizations such as the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, the National Breast Cancer Coalition, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Gilda's Club, among others.


Blair won the Miss Teen USA contest on August 15, 2006 a year after winning Miss Teen Montana. The Billings, Montana resident looks to become the 'hottest new young designer at Fashion Week' when her title-reign ends.


Meade and Bartlett are the co-hosts of WOR Radio 710 AM's Saturday Morning Live. Bartlett, the news director and the weather and traffic legend Meade, team up to recap what has happened during the week and give an opportunity to their listeners to talk about what's on their mind.


You can see the three 'misses' and two radio hosts start the Red Bulls top of the table match against the New England Revolution on Saturday, July 14. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 and will be broadcast nationally on Fox Soccer Channel.
