Tickets for the showdown between Real Salt Lake and the Los Angeles Galaxy and their new captain, MF David Beckham, on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Rice-Eccles Stadium continue to be the hottest seats of the 2007 season, as RSL has announced that less than 3,000 seats remain with the much-anticipated matchday just four weeks away. Seats in the Premium Chair Back and North Goal sections have completely sold out, leaving seating remaining in three sections: VIP ($40), Premium Bleachers ($28), and Corner Flag ($19). Real Salt Lake is expected to make a decision on whether or not additional seating beyond the Rice-Eccles Stadium MLS capacity of 24,287 will be made available in the upcoming weeks.
Kick-off for the RSL-Galaxy affair is set for 7:00 p.m. MT at Rice-Eccles Stadium, with gates to the popular Carnival Real pre-game festival opening to the public at 6:00 p.m. With tickets moving fast, fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets for the RSL-Galaxy affair in advance through one of the following avenues throughout the next month:
- Through the RSL Front Office by calling 801-924-8585 or visiting in person at its Trolley Corners location at 515 S. 700 East, Suite #2R.
- By calling the University of Utah Ticket Hotline at 801-581-UTIX (8849)

Fans are advised that the only seats at Rice-Eccles Stadium below row 20 remaining for the RSL-Galaxy contest are in the Premium Bleacher sections of the stadium. Real Salt Lake has unveiled a new "Family Four Pack" for the Sept. 19 contest, which includes four (4) Premium Bleacher seats and four (4) T-Shirts for just $80. Fans wanting to purchase the "Family Four Pack" are asked to call or visit the RSL Front Office to take advantage of this limited time offer. In addition, preferred seating locations are being held for group ticket options, as groups of 20+ will receive a significant discount over RSL's listed single-game prices.
Fans planning on redeeming either KFC Colonel's Corner vouchers - which will remain at the $14 price for the contest - and RSL Flex vouchers are encouraged to do so in advance at the RSL Front Office while seats still remain. Fans are advised that the KFC Colonel's Corner is already near capacity, as less than 100 seats remain in the section for the Sept. 19 contest.
