The LA Galaxy have announced that they will play a preseason friendly against the Hong Kong Union in Hong Kong on Sunday, March 9. This match will be the third and final match of the club's Asia Tour 2008 presented by Herbalife. This game, as well as the Galaxy's other two games in Korea and China will be broadcast nationally on Fox Soccer Channel, with two of the matches being aired live and one being shown in primetime, for West Coast viewers, on tape delay.

"Additionally, I would like to thank everyone at Fox Soccer Channel for agreeing to broadcast these games nationally, allowing all Galaxy fans and soccer fans the chance to see our team prepare for the upcoming season."
Fox Soccer Channel will begin their coverage of Asia Tour 2008 with a live broadcast of the Galaxy's match against FC Seoul on Saturday, March 1 starting at 11:30 p.m. (PT). Four days later, Fox Soccer Channel will show a tape delayed broadcast of the game against Shanghai-Hong Kong United on tape delay, with the game being aired on tape delay starting at 8 p.m. (PT). For the final game of the tour, Fox Soccer Channel returns to live coverage as the Galaxy face Hong Kong Union at Hong Kong Stadium on Sunday, March 9, starting at 11 p.m. (PT).
The match against Hong Kong Union will be played at Hong Kong Stadium, a 40,000 seat stadium in the heart of Hong Kong. In addition to National Team matches, the stadium has also hosted the Barclays Asia Trophy, a four-team tournament held in July that featured English Premier League clubs Fulham, Liverpool and Portsmouth, international rugby games and many other major sporting events.
Prior to the match in Hong Kong, the Galaxy will take on FC Seoul on Saturday, March 1 at Seoul World Cup Stadium in the first game of Asia Tour 2008. Four days later, on Wednesday, March 5, the Galaxy will take on the Shanghai-Hong Kong United in Shanghai, China.
