CARSON, Calif. - The Los Angeles Galaxy will host their annual Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, October 13, when the Galaxy take on Toronto FC, at 7:30 p.m. at The Home Depot Center. This match is presented by Bank of America and gives the club an opportunity to thank the fans for their tremendous support throughout the 2007 season. As a way of showing their gratitude to all their fans, the Galaxy have greatly expanded their in-stadium fan experience for this game.
"It is important for our players, coaches and staff to be able to thank our fans for their unwavering support throughout this uniquely challenging season," said LA Galaxy President and General Manager Alexi Lalas. "They've stuck with us through thick and thin and this is our way of repaying them."

Prior to the game, fans are invited to cheer on the Miss L.A. Galaxy contestants as they compete for the title of Miss L.A. Galaxy 2008, presented by CoverGirl. The contest begins at 5 p.m. on the main concourse of The Home Depot Center. The ten finalists, who are between the ages of eighteen and twenty-seven, will be judged on their appearance/presentation as well as their knowledge of Galaxy trivia. The winner will be selected based on her performance, along with an online fan poll, sportswear and evening wear competitions, and a previously conducted interview.
