K.C. announces pair of home schedule changes

KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Wizards General Manager Curt Johnson announced today schedule changes for a pair of the Wizards' 2006 home games. Kansas City's Wednesday, July 19th match against the defending Eastern Conference Champion New England Revolution has been moved to Saturday, July 29th. While the Wizards' August 26th game against Major League Soccer front-running FC Dallas has been pushed back one day to August 27th.


The Kansas City and New England match will now be played on July 29th and will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. CT in Arrowhead Stadium. The Wizards will still offer the $1 special on hot dogs and ice cream that they were originally offering for the Revolution match despite the game being rescheduled to a Saturday.


The FC Dallas match has been moved to Sunday, August 27th in order to accommodate the Kansas City Chiefs schedule. Kickoff for the August 27th match will remain at 7:30 p.m. CT.
