The Kansas City Wizards unveiled today their new slogan for the upcoming season "The World's Game...Kansas City's Team". The mantra allows the organization to highlight two distinctly different but extremely valuable assets: soccer as the World's Game and the Wizards as Kansas City's team. Not only do the Wizards play the world's most popular sport, but also OnGoal, the Wizards ownership group, is the only Kansas City ownership group in major professional sports that is based in town. OnGoal is devoted to the improvement of Kansas City through community programs and development projects.
"The World's Game...Kansas City's Team" will appear on all promotional material and advertising and help shape Wizards events and activities throughout 2008 as Kansas City enters a temporary home at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City, Kan.
