Kansas City Wizards to host two super clinics presented by Supercuts in coming weeks

The Kansas City Wizards and Supercuts are teaming up to bring young players in the area the largest and best soccer clinics available in to Kansas City Wizards fans. Super Clinics by Supercuts will take place August 15 and September 5 at the Wizards Swope Park Training Center and Heritage Park, respectively.


"We're very pleased to join with Supercuts on this beneficial program for local soccer players," Executive Vice President Greg Cotton said. "Our players and staff are great with events like this and really enjoy working with young people."


"Supercuts is excited to partner with the Kansas City Wizards to bring this wonderful opportunity to the kids in the Kansas City area," Supercuts Regional Manager Erin Mullin said.


Wizards players, coaches and staff will teach and demonstrate soccer skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, defending and game strategy. Participants that register for the August 15 clinic will receive (1) ticket to the Wednesday, August 22 game against Mexican international Cuahtemoc Blanco and the Chicago Fire. Participants that register for the September 15 clinic will receive (1) ticket to the Saturday, September 15 game against Argentinean star Guillermo Barros Schelotto and the Columbus Crew.
