SECAUCUS, NJ - Red Bull New York announced today that individual tickets for the August 12, 2006 match at Giants Stadium between the Red Bulls and reigning European club champion FC Barcelona are now on sale. The Red Bulls special FC Barcelona ticket pack- which includes four tickets to the Red Bulls/Barcelona match and one Red Bulls soccer ball- is still available online or by calling 1-877-RBSOCCER.
Group discounts are also available for purchases of 15 tickets or more.
11 players from FC Barcelona's roster are currently playing in the 2006 FIFA World Cup, led by two-time defending FIFA World Player of the Year Ronaldinho (Brazil). 18-year-old Argentine star Lionel Messi, Mexico's standout defender Rafael Marquez and Portuguese midfielder Deco are among the notables while Javier Saviola (Argentina), Giovanni Van Bronckhorst (Netherlands), Mark Van Bommel (Netherlands), Carlos Puyol (Spain), Xavi Hernandez (Spain), Iniesta (Spain), and Henrik Larsson (Sweden) round out the list of 11.
