Individual day tickets now on sale for the World Series of Football

CARSON, Calif. - Individual day tickets for the 2007 World Series of Football will go on sale at 10 a.m. (PT) on Friday, July 6. There are only a limited number of tickets left for each day in most sections while some price ranges are sold out entirely.


The World Series of Football is a four-team tournament that will bring together two-time reigning English Premier League champion Chelsea FC, two-time MLS Cup champion Los Angeles Galaxy, three-time K-League champion Suwon Bluewings and two-time Mexican First Division champion Tigres UANL. All four teams will play two games in this tournament with the eventual winner being crowned the World Series of Football champion.


Fans can now choose to purchase tickets for either the doubleheader on Tuesday, July 17 when the Galaxy take on Tigres UANL (5:30 p.m.) and Chelsea plays Suwon Bluewings (8 p.m.) or the doubleheader on July 21. On that day Suwon Bluewings play Tigres (2:30 p.m.) and the Galaxy host Chelsea (5:30 p.m.) in one of the year's most eagerly anticipated events.


General Admission seats for each doubleheader start at $60, giving fans the chance to see four top clubs for one low price. Seats are also still available in the 200C level for $70, Corner $75 while Sideline tickets cost $125 and Fieldside seats are $500 for the day. All other sections are sold out.
