Houston Dynamo launches 'Score at School' program in greater Houston area

HOUSTON, TX - For the second consecutive season, the Houston Dynamo will be launching their "Score at School" program, sponsored by Amerigroup Community Care, which allows children to experience high-quality soccer first-hand after they complete a series of academic goals.

The program, which already has over 10,000 children registered, runs from the months of March through May. Room is still available for those teachers interested in enrolling his or her classroom.

A total of 8 school districts, among them the Houston Independent School District and the Pasadena School District, have decided to participate in this year's edition of the program. "Score at School" is a free program that schools and teachers can use as an incentive to help motivate their students. Once students have reached the three goals established for them, academic or otherwise, they are eligible to receive a complimentary ticket to a Houston Dynamo game.
