Red Bull New York has announced that it has unveiled its Community Team Practice initiative and will be accepting applications from local communities with qualifying facilities that wish the Red Bulls to hold an official team training session on their local field.
The New York Red Bulls, already a community relations leader among Metropolitan New York sports franchises, is now offering a unique opportunity for local communities. The club is now accepting applications to have the team hold a training session on at a local facility. This is an amazing opportunity for local communities to have a professional sports team hold a regular season training session in their town. Having MLS stars like Juan Pablo Angel, Claudio Reyna, and Jozy Altidore participating in a full training session on a local field is a chance that should not be passed up!
The following qualifications must be met before a location can be approved:
• The field must be grass
• The field dimensions must be a minimum of 115 yards by 75 yards
• The location must be within 50 miles of Montclair State University (30 East Normal Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07043)
• The location must be approved by a Red Bull representative
• The location must have restroom facilities
• The location must have locker room facilities with showers
• The location must have athletic training facilities to tape and treat players
• Bottled water must be supplied
