Chivas USA Original Brad Guzan has been named to the United States National Team's initial roster for the squad's upcoming match against Spain, to be played at the Estadio El Sardinero in Santander on June 4. U.S. head coach Bob Bradley, who coached at Chivas USA in 2006, has included Guzan on the roster for the second consecutive match.

Guzan, who recently played in the U.S.'s friendly against England at Wembley Stadium in London, is currently with Chivas USA and is expected to start on Saturday against the Columbus Crew. Seventeen European-based players in the U.S. squad are already in Santander, while decisions on travel for the MLS-based players will be made after this weekend's matches.

The United States' match, which starts at 1:00 p.m. PT, will be broadcast on tape-delay on ESPN2 at 2:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday, June 4. It is Spain's final tune-up before starting European Championship play on June 10, while the match is the second of three friendlies for the U.S. before the team begins World Cup qualifying on Sunday, June 15 at The Home Depot Center against Barbados.

Guzan, 23, has made six appearances for the U.S. National Team, most recently playing the second half of a 2-0 loss against England in London on May 28. The Homer Glen, Ill., native is a Chivas USA Original, having been with the club for all four years of its existence, and was named 2007 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year.

On a two-match winning streak, Chivas USA looks to avenge an early season loss to Columbus this Saturday night at The Home Depot Center, as the Red-and-White take on the Crew at 7:30 p.m. PT. For information about the match, or to purchase tickets, please call 1-877-CHIVAS-1.
