Guzan called to duty against England

Chivas USA goalkeeper Brad Guzan has been called into the United States Men's National Team's 22-man squad by head coach Bob Bradley for the USA's match against England next Wednesday, May 28. Guzan will depart for the game, which takes place at London's Wembley Stadium, after Chivas USA faces the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, May 24.


Guzan, 23, has made five appearances for the U.S. National Team, most recently earning a shutout in a 2-0 win over Sweden on January 19, 2008, at The Home Depot Center. The Homer Glen, Ill., native is a Chivas USA Original, having been with the club for all four years of its existence, and was named 2007 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year.
