Game notes: New England at Salt Lake

After extending its undefeated streak to a league-best seven games with a 1-1 draw with the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday night at Gillette Stadium, the New England Revolution (8-3-3, 27 pts.) will travel to Utah to face Real Salt Lake (4-5-4, 16 pts.) on Saturday, June 21, at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The game will be televised regionally on TV38 beginning at 9:30 p.m. ET, while radio listeners can catch the action live on the WEEI Radio Network.

The Revolution's current seven-game unbeaten run is the longest by any team in the league this season, while it's also the club's longest streak since April 14-May 19, 2007, when the Revs also went 5-0-2 over a seven-game stretch. The streak marks the seventh time in club history that the Revolution has put together an undefeated run spanning at least seven games, with the longest being a 12-game run from Oct. 16, 2004-June 11, 2005, which spanned the final game of the 2004 regular season and the first 11 matches of the 2005 campaign.

The Revs are 3-1-2 in the brief, six-game series with Real Salt Lake, while they're an undefeated 2-0-1 in three matches in Utah. In the most recent meeting between the two sides on July 28, 2007, New England used an 82nd-minute Jeff Larentowicz free kick to earn a 2-1 win at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
