Game notes: FCD 2, HOU 2

• FC Dallas is now 3-3-4, 13 points on the season, and moves into second place of the Western Conference, one point behind the LA Galaxy.


• Dallas is now 1-5-4 all-time versus Houston; 1-1-3 at Pizza Hut Park.


• FCD is now 2-2-2 at home this season. Kenny Cooper's goal in the 35th minute was his sixth of the season, good for second place in MLS behind Landon Donovan (9).


• FCD is 15-1-4 all-time when Cooper scores a goal. Drew Moor scored his first goal of the season on a header off an Andre Rocha's corner kick. For Moor, it was his fourth career goal, and second against Houston...It was also FCD's first goal off a corner kick this season.


• Moor is the sixth different FCD player to score this year.


• Rocha leads the team with five assists and is in second place in MLS behind Donovan (6).


• Dominic Oduro tonight made his first start of the season.


• Blake Wagner made his seventh start of the year and first in four games, having been away with the U.S. U-23's at the Toulon, France tournament until Monday, May 26.


• Duilio Davino was replaced in the 47th minute after experiencing pain in his right ankle from a tackle in the first half. He had played every minute of the season until that point. X-rays after the game were negative.


• Dario Sala, Davino, Rocha, and Cooper are the only players to start and play in all ten games this season. Sala is the only player to play every minute of every game. Andre Rocha received his first career red card. It was the third consecutive game an FC Dallas player was shown a straight red card.


• Tonight was the third game this season in which FCD has surrendered a goal in the final six minutes of the game to come out with a draw, and the second time to Houston. The teams will meet once more on June 26 in Houston.


• FC Dallas was without Dax McCarty (sports hernia), David Wagenfuhr (concussion) and Bobby Rhine (red card suspension).


• Tonight's attendance was 8,451.


• FC Dallas faces the Colorado Rapids on Sunday, June 1 at 2 p.m. CT at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

"I think we had a lot of positive moments. I think we put them under a lot of pressure. The goals were very good, and we had good possession. I think there's a lot of positives to take out of this."


On what it takes to finish off games:
"Being clinical in those moments. Sometimes veterans figure it out; Houston's a veteran team. But the boys that came on did a great job. They worked very hard, and we had some opportunities to put the game away, and we didn't. We'll go back and we'll review it. We'll figure out ways to get better."
