• On Mothers Day at The Home Depot Center, a Chivas USA team missing three defensive starters fell 2-1 to the New England Revolution. NE goals: Mansally (18'), Twellman (59'); CHV: Braun (93').

• Missing from Chivas USA's backline were regular starters Claudio Suárez (red card suspension, one-game), Lawson Vaughn (facial fracture, 6 weeks) and Jonathan Bornstein (LCL sprain, 6-8 weeks).

• Forwards Ante Razov and Maykel Galindo made their second consecutive start of 2008 together for Chivas USA, with Galindo setting up Chivas USA's lone goal, by Justin Braun, in the 93rd minute.

• Chivas USA Head Coach Preki, on today's match: "It's always good to give young players a little bit of time and a little bit of experience. But this is all about winning games and right now we're not winning. We want to see some of these young guys on the field for us getting some results and right now they get on the field but we don't get results. So we're frustrated."

• After a day off Monday, Chivas USA will train Tuesday through Friday on Field 6 ahead of Saturday's game vs. D.C. United at The Home Depot Center.

• Following Saturday's D.C. United game, Chivas USA will hold its second 'Practice in the Community' of 2008 on Sunday, May 18 at 9:00 a.m. PT at The Bell Gardens Sports Center
