Forever Orange proclamation

Whereas, the Houston Dynamo, defending Major League Soccer champions, will take on the Kansas City Wizards at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2007, at Robertson Stadium; and

Whereas, displaying their unrelenting persistence, the Dynamo recently defeated FC Dallas 4-1 in a thrilling overtime to advance to the Western Conference final; and

Whereas, the Dynamo have inspired rabid fan support and enthusiasm during the team's two years in Houston; and

Whereas, all Harris County residents are encouraged to wear orange on Friday, November 9, 2007, in support of the Dynamo and to rally behind the players and Coach Dom Kinnear as they continue their quest to keep the MLS Cup in Houston: now, therefore
I, Ed Emmett, County Judge of Harris County, Texas, hereby proclaim Friday, November 9, 2007, as

"Forever Orange" Day

in Harris County, Texas, and further congratulate the defending champion Houston Dynamo on their march toward a second championship in the MLS Cup Playoffs.
