Fire youth development update - July 2

a home game on Wednesday against the Kalamazoo Outrage (6:00 p.m. CT, TOYOTA PARK Practice Field) and an away game on Saturday against the Indiana Invaders (6:30 CT, Invaders Soccer Complex) the team will look to gain needed points in the Heartland Division. Despite a recent skid, the Fire PDL remain at the top of the Heartland Division with a record of 5-2-4, 19 points.


Mark Blades earned PDL Team of the Week honors for Week 10.


SUPER 20's ON THE ROAD THIS WEEKEND
The Chicago Fire Super 20 squad returns to action this week to take on the Indiana Invaders on Saturday, July 5, on the road at the Invaders Soccer Complex at 4:00 p.m. CT. The Super 20's are coming off a 1-1 tie versus St. Louis Lions last Saturday at home. The Super 20 squad is 2-1-2 on the season with 8 points in the league.

CHICAGO FIRE JUNIORS U15 BOYS QUALIFY FOR NATIONALS
The CFJ U15 Boys team had advanced to the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships in Arkansas on July 22nd - 27th. At these National Championships, the 15 boys will square off against the champions from the East, South, and Far West Regions in order to determine the best team in our country at the U15 age group.


To reach Nationals, the CFJ U15 Boys defeated Vadar (3-1), Edina (3-0), the Chicago Sockers (3-0), and the Kansas City Futbol Club (4-2 in the Finals) at the Midwest Regional Tournament held in Rockford, Ill. last week.
