Fire announce ticket info for U.S. Open Cup Final on Sept. 27

The Chicago Fire beat D.C. United to reach the U.S. Open Cup Final on Sept. 27.

After advancing out of the Semifinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup tournament with a 3-0 win over D.C. United earlier tonight, the Chicago Fire has released ticket information for the 2006 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final, to be held at TOYOTA PARK on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 7:00 p.m. CT (live on Fox Soccer Channel).


Ticket for the 2006 U.S. Open Cup Final will cost $25 for general admission, with the best available seats offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be purchased beginning at 10:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, Sept. 7 by calling Ticketmaster at 312-559-1212 or by visiting www.Ticketmaster.com. Tickets are also available at the TOYOTA PARK Box Office, located at 7000 S. Harlem Ave., in Bridgeview. The TOYOTA PARK Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. CT and on the day of the event.


Fire Full Season Ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase seats at a discounted rate of $20 - and discounted parking for $12 - if they purchase their seats by Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 5:00 p.m. CT. In addition, half Season, Flex Plan and Mini Plan Ticket holders will have the chance to purchase best-available tickets for $20 and $12 parking passes if purchased by Tuesday, Sept. 26. Fire Season Ticket holders can secure their advance tickets by calling the Fire's Customer Service hotline at 708-496-6800 or faxing in the order form that will be sent via mail in the upcoming days. Fire Season Ticket holders are encouraged to call the Fire Customer Service Hotline or visit the Fire's Season Ticket Holder page on the club's official website, www.Chicago-Fire.com.


Fire Club Seat holders will have a limited window to purchase their season ticket location, with the right of first refusal window beginning at 9:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, Sept. 7 and ending Friday, Sept. 8 at 10:00 p.m. Club seats for the U.S. Open Cup Final are $35, which includes one complimentary pass for the VIP Parking Lot for every two seats purchased and an invitation to a special post-game party in the TOYOTA PARK club level.


Tickets for groups of 10 or more are also available for the Open Cup Final for $20 each, with seating also on a first-come, first-served basis. Group seating can be purchased by calling 1-888-MLS-FIRE by Tuesday, Sept. 26.


Fans should note that, for the U.S. Open Cup Final, gates to the TOYOTA PARK East Parking Lots will open two hours before kick-off at 5:00 p.m. CT, with Gates C & D into TOYOTA PARK opening one hour prior to kick at 6:00 p.m. CT. Members of the media will be allowed entrance into the East Lot via entrance S2 (off 71st Street) beginning at 5:00 p.m. by showing their 2006 Fire Full Season Credentials at the gate.


The Fire moves on to its fifth U.S. Open Cup Final in just nine tries, and its third Final appearance in the last four tournaments. The Fire will be looking to lift the Dewar Trophy for a fourth time on Sept. 27 and add another Open Cup title to its case to go along with its 1998, 2000 and 2003 championships.
