CHICAGO FIRE 3, NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION 3

CHICAGO FIRE HEAD COACH DAVE SARACHAN

On tonight's game:
"Obviously this is a disappointing night from the standpoint that we didn't win this game. It was a beautiful night. It was a terrific opening and a great field, but we didn't get the job done today and it's very disappointing."

On giving up a late lead:
"It wasn't a great night of soccer for us on the field. We had our moments but when we're up 3-1 in the 89th or 90th minute you have to win that game. Too many individual mistakes at the end. It's inexcusable, frankly."

On playing at the new stadium:
"It's terrific. When it's at full capacity it's going to be louder, but it was loud. We noticed it. The fans were into it. The colors, the field. I think it's a treat, a real treat. In my mind, it's just such a disappointing night when you don't get three points. The peripheral things were terrific."

CHICAGO FIRE FORWARD CALEN CARR

On his first MLS goal:
"It was a really good counterattack. We noticed that their line was pretty high, they were throwing numbers forward, being down [2-1]. It was a well-executed counter. I think it was Jared (Montz) and Ivan (Guerrero) who were good to go at a good speed, though also be patient. Ivan laid me a good ball across and I was able to beat the 'keeper and put it away."

On the new stadium and field:
"The field is immaculate. It was an unbelievable environment tonight, especially because the game wasn't even open to the public. The fans who were there made it seem like it was sold out and then some. It was an unbelievable environment, first-rate."

CHICAGO FIRE DEFENDER C.J. BROWN

On the defensive breakdown at the end of the game:
"Biggest embarrassment ever. It could have been a multitude of things. Guys weren't tracking, guys weren't winning balls, we weren't defending, we got caught in our heads, thought the game was over and New England kept playing. It was an embarrassment tonight."

On playing at the new stadium:
"We have no more excuses. The stadium is awesome, the fans are great, the field is awesome. The stadium is perfect, the field is perfect."

NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION HEAD COACH STEVE NICOL

On whether the result was justified:
"Absolutely. It was like robbery. We should've got three points. Daylight robbery. I'm sitting thinking I've never been on such a one-sided game and lost two-nil."

On how his team responded:
"What can I say about the way the boys kept going. Absolutely fighting it, you know. Obviously we knew they had some balls for showing that again tonight. Absolutely fantastic performance."

On the play of Andy Dorman:
"Obviously the [goal] taken off is a ridiculous call which we get against us, again. This has happened week in and week out now ... we're getting decisions which are huge for us. They're costing us points. That call cost us another two points tonight."

NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION MIDFIELDER ANDY DORMAN

On the end of the match:
"It's good to get one at the end. I thought I was a good few yards onside for the goals and they disallow it so I was obviously disappointed with that. I guess it's a good result in the end. I felt like we deserved something out of the game - three points would have been nice but we'll take the draw after going down two goals with, like, five minutes left."

On whether they believed they could make the comeback:
"Yes, for sure; I mean, we got goal scorers and recently we haven't been scoring too many goals so they were due to come. We just have to keep fighting them and we did that and the goals eventually came."
