NOTES:

  • With the close of the regular season, FC Dallas' weekly English radio show has also concluded. However, on Wednesday, Nov. 1, the voice of FC Dallas, Ray Canevari, will host a season recap and MLS Cup preview show on 1160 am from 9:00-10:00 p.m. Fans can tune in online by clicking 'listen live' on the stations website: http://kvceradio.com/. The Spanish radio show on 1440 am with Carlos Alvarado and Jesus Padilla will have one final show on Tuesday, Nov. 7 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

  • The MLS Cup Playoffs continue with the two Conference Championship Games being played on Sunday, Nov. 5 followed by the single MLS Cup final that will decide the 11th champion in the League's history.

  • The Eastern Conference Championship game features four-time champion D.C. United hosting the New England Revolution in a game televised live nationally on ESPN2 (3:00 p.m. CT), while the Western Conference Championship game has the Houston Dynamo hosting the Colorado Rapids live on Fox Soccer Channel and HDNet at 6:00 p.m. CT.

  • The winners of each of those games will then come to Frisco for the 2006 MLS Cup final, held for the second consecutive year at Pizza Hut Park on Nov. 12 at 2:30 p.m. CT (live on ABC Sports).

  • FC Dallas has reason to have a favorite among the four finalists. If D.C. United wins the 2006 MLS Cup, FCD will join them as the two U.S. representatives in the 2007 CONCACAF Champions Cup.

  • Prior to the start of the 2006 season, MLS announced that the team with the best record throughout the MLS regular season would receive a direct entry into the Champions' Cup, the longest running international club competition in the region which crowns the champion club of the North, Central American and Caribbean Football Association (CONCACAF).

  • The second U.S. entry would be the team that wins the 2006 MLS Cup, but only if it's not the same team that had the best regular season record. In the event that the team with the best record also wins MLS Cup, the second U.S. entry then goes to the team with the second best record in MLS during the regular season - which this year was FC Dallas.

  • The winner of the Champions Cup, which begins in February 2007, advances to play in the FIFA Club World Championships, which also includes the winners of other confederation club tournaments such as the European Champions League and South America's Copa Libertadores.
