• FCD finished with a regular season home record of 7-5-3.

• Tonight was the 11th time the team has been shutout this year, and seventh time at home. Both are new all-time low marks for a season.

• The team finished with a record of 5-7-2 versus Eastern Conference teams and 8-5-3 versus the West.

• The loss on the season finale brings the team's all-time record in its last game of the season to 4-5-3.

• Second-year defender Michael Dello-Russo made his MLS debut tonight, becoming the fourth player to make his professional soccer debut in 2007 (Ray Burse, Anthony Wallace, and Blake Wagner).

• Kenny Cooper played the full 90 for the first time since May 26, a 2-0 loss to Chivas.

• Dominic Oduro finished the season with the most games played, 29 out of 30.

• Pablo Ricchetti, who returned to the lineup after missing the last two games with a groin injury, wore the captain's armband for the third time this season.

• Game time temperature was listed as 86 degrees.

• Tonight's attendance was 20,500, the team's second sell out of the season.

• FC Dallas Head Coach Steve Morrow: "It was a disappointing way to finish the season. I don't think we played well tonight. I thought too many guys had a bad game and we can't afford that. The game meant something different to two teams tonight. It meant a lot to Kansas City and it didn't mean too much to us and I thought that showed in the performances. We're going to remain very positive, we're going to have a positive week of training and we're going to be ready come playoff time next week."
