FC Dallas to host Budweiser Hispanic Heritage Night on September 13

FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas' next home game will be on Wednesday, September 13 when Chivas USA comes to Pizza Hut Park for Budweiser Hispanic Heritage Night (7:30 p.m. kickoff). As part of the night's festivities, fans will be treated to a free Latin music concert featuring Colombian-performing artists La Sonora Tropicana, who will perform on the north stage immediately following the game.


Prior to kickoff against Chivas USA, FC Dallas will honor the following Hispanic leaders for their contributions to the Collin County community: Andres Vidales (Tex-Mex Soccer League); Dr. Lucio (Louie) Gonzales Jr. (Former Clinical Director of Tapestry Healthcare McKinney); David Trujillo (Executive Committee of Blackwatch Soccer Club of McKinney); Rodney Cruz (Chair, Board of Directors, Collin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce); and Bill & Carmen Herrera (Owners, Graphics & Posters in Frisco).


The evening will also include Mariachis and Folklorico dancers performing throughout the game on the concourse and on the field during halftime.


FC Dallas and Chivas USA have met twice prior this season, with each team winning in their home stadiums. The Western Conference foes will conclude their regular season series with two games in five days, starting on Saturday, September 9 when FCD travels to The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. in a game televised live at 9:00 p.m. (CT) on Channel 21 (KTXA). The teams meet again on September 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Pizza Hut Park.
