After attending the FC Dallas v LA Galaxy fixture on March 15, 2008 at Pizza Hut Park, England national team general manager Franco Baldini has this to say about his experience in Frisco.
"I received a very good reception from everyone while I was in Dallas.
"It was good to see so much interest in the fixture with such a large crowd at the stadium and with high levels of media covering the game.
"It can only be good for soccer in the U.S. that there is such a growing level of interest. It was clear to see that the approach is extremely professional and the facilities are first-class.
"I'm sure that football (soccer) in the United States has a very interesting future.
"I would like to thank everyone at FC Dallas for their help and assistance this weekend and wish them well for the new season."
FC Dallas and the LA Galaxy played to a scoreless draw on Saturday.
