Dynamo Wives hold Spring Cleaning Sale

HOUSTON, TX - With the Dynamo hard at work on the field, the Dynamo Wives have been stepping up their game off the field and will hold their first ever Spring Cleaning Sale prior to the Houston Dynamo's Sunday home game against Toronto FC on Sunday, June 8.

All proceeds from the sale, which will feature more than 550 items of Dynamo and athletic equipment and apparel from the players' closets, will go to the Ronald McDonald House of Houston, a charity particularly dear to Dynamo midfielder Brian Mullan and his wife, Kersten.

"Without the Ronald McDonald House, our experience would have been completely different," Brian Mullan said of a family emergency earlier this year. "The Ronald McDonald House offers comfort to families during a time of uncertainly, and we, along with the other Dynamo players, want to give back. This is why the wives have chosen Ronald McDonald House as the beneficiary of their first charity event, and we are excited about the chance to help out other families who have experienced or will experience what I did with my family."

The event will also feature game-worn, autographed items from Dynamo players to be raffled off. The Spring Cleaning Sale will take place just outside the stadium at Amigo Energy SoccerFest, which will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Fans will be directed to the Dynamo Wives booth, where they can purchase items and buy raffle tickets for the featured items.

The Dynamo's next home game is Sunday, June 8, at 7:30 p.m. against Toronto FC. For more information, call (713) 276-7500 or log on to www.houstondynamo.com.
