HOUSTON - Members of the MLS Champion Houston Dynamo returned Thursday night from Costa Rica frustrated and red hot over the heated developments and frustrating outcome of their opening CONCACAF match against Puntarenas.
Craig Waibel put it simply: "We got jobbed."
Waibel, appearing on Houston's KBME "The Sports Animal," echoed sentiments of many teammates over what many observers called questionable officiating in the 1-0 loss.
The second match against Putarenas is Thursday, March 1 in College Station. Of the second half of the home-and-home quarterfinal, Waibel says "We're planning on putting it on them."
