Dynamo U-17s play to pair of draws

Houston Dynamo

The Houston Dynamo Under-17's have played to two straight draws at the MLS Youth Cup at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado.

The Youth In Orange are a quick 0-0-2 in the tournament featuring some of the best young talent in the country. Dynamo tied with the Los Angeles Galaxy U-17's 2-2 Saturday night. Houston had a 1-0 lead at halftime and built that to a 2-0 lead on the strength of a header off a free kick from Christian Cruz. The Galaxy youth tied the game with goals in the 55nd minute and on the last possession of the game.

This effort against L.A. was preceded by another tie Friday night against the Chicago Fire U-17's, a come-from-behind effort to finish with a 3-3 tie. Dynamo will now play the Colorado Rapids' B team Monday in need of a victory to advance in the tournament.
