Dynamo ready for streaking Real

we're just looking to win every game."

Real is riding a club record three-game winning streak and trails Chivas USA by just four points for the final playoff spot in the West, and they are certain to be riding a wave of confidence which might cause some trouble for an injury-depleted Dynamo side.

"They've been on a bit of a winning streak," said Ricardo Clark. "So they definitely are going to come into the game with a lot of confidence. We treat it as any other game -- every game is a big game."

Added Mullan: "They're a good team. We're a good team as well, but we just need to play our game, pass the ball around and hopefully discourage them from playing well."

The Real attack has really taken off in the past weeks led by Jeff Cunningham, acquired in the offseason from the Colorado Rapids and now leading the league with 13 goals. His addition, along with other veteran presence, makes Real a tough team to face.

"Cunningham obviously is a big weapon for them," said Kinnear. "But also I saw late in the game (Wednesday) night, (Chris) Klein and Andy Williams came on and Carey Talley had a solid performance. It's going to be very difficult for us but I think the guys understand that.

"So we'll be ready. It's going to be tough but we understand where they're at, we understand where we're at and we do know that Dallas plays on Sunday so we know what we can do and we're going there to win."

Ronald Cerritos was absent from training Thursday morning for unspecified reasons so Mullan may get the starting role up top alongside Alejandro Moreno.

"The first few years in the league I was a forward," said Mullan. "We'll see if it comes back to me."
