Dynamo-Pachuca pushed to Thursday

A utility pole lies in the street at the University of Houston.

Houston Dynamo will have to wait another day for their shot at Mexican power CF Pachuca, as the clubs' CONCACAF Champions' Cup semifinal first leg has been rescheduled to Thursday at 5 p.m. CT at Robertson Stadium in Houston.

A transformer south of the stadium on the campus of the University of Houston blew Wednesday afternoon, causing a power outage and the game's subsequent postponement. The game was supposed to kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT Wednesday.

All of Wednesday's tickets will be honored Thursday night, and the game will still air live on Fox Soccer Channel as planned.

"We were headed for a big crowd in this historic game," said Dynamo President and General Manager Oliver Luck. "We just have to wait a little longer."
