Dynamo loses first game of preseason

The Houston Dynamo suffered their first loss of the 2007 pre-season, falling this afternoon to their bitter rival, the Los Angeles Galaxy, by a score of 1-0.


In a game that turned out to be tight and even for both teams, only the Galaxy managed to pull through at the 35th minute, thanks to Landon Donovan. Gavin Glinton got the assist on the play.


With the loss, the Dynamo are now 3-1-1 in pre-season play. The team has the day off tomorrow, only to return to the practice fields on Saturday and face off against Chivas USA on Sunday in their final game of their current pre-season trip. The game against Chivas USA is slated for 10:30 a.m. PT.
