Dynamo Charities, the charitable arm of the Houston Dynamo, will be holding its second-annual golf tournament on Wednesday, September 12, it was announced today.
The event is aimed at providing a fun and enjoyable day, not only for sponsors and season-ticket holders, but also for the general public, who will have an opportunity to interact and play with members of the Houston Dynamo. The tournament will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Wildcat Golf Club.
"We are thrilled to be hosting what is now the second edition of our golf tournament next month", said Houston Dynamo President and General Manager Oliver Luck. "The development of this event is one of our many ways of saying 'thanks', and giving a little bit back to a community that has supported our team unconditionally since it was brought to Houston."
Registration to the event is now open for foursomes and individual golfers. The prices for admission packages are as follows: Foursomes, $1000; Individual Golfer, $275; Tee Sponsor (not playing), $300. Package prices include green and cart fees, box lunch and awards dinner.
Dynamo Charities strive to support and implement community-oriented programs that enhance the lives of the Greater Houston youth population, while providing both educational and recreational opportunities to economically or otherwise disadvantaged youth, as we continue to expose the public to the sport of soccer.
