HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Dynamo has added six more players to its Player Development System (DPDS), signing Manmeet Bhogal, Jabril Jama, Martin Vazquez, Josue Soto, Charlie Gagnon, and Joaquin Lewis.

The signings for all six players took place at the Houston Dynamo offices. Today's signings bring the total to 14 players who have come on to the DPDS since its inception one month ago.

"For me, playing for the Dynamo is the ultimate goal", said Lewis. "Now, I need to work hard to show that I do deserve to be here. This is only the first step of many that I will hopefully take with this organization."

"I know that the players in this team work hard every game. They are good athletes who put the team first rather than see themselves at the forefront. I like that mentality, and know that, with time, I will do well with the Dynamo," said Bhogal.

Jamal, Bhogal, Vazquez, Gagnon, and Lewis will play for the DPDS' U-15 squad, while Soto will do so with the U-18 team. Bhogal currently plays midfielder for Cy Fair High School and the Albion Hurricanes. Jamal plays as a left wing for Pearland Junior High School West and Texas Soccer Club, while Vazquez plays as a defender for Campbell Middle School and Texans Soccer Club. Soto plays as a midfielder for Preparatoria Tecnológica in Monterrey, México, Gagnon as a defender for Quail Valley Middle School and Texas Soccer Club, and Lewis plays forward for the British School of Houston and Albion Hurricanes Soccer Club.

"All these players are extremely talented, and will do well within the DPDS if they set their minds to it.", said James Clarkson, Dynamo Director of Youth Development. "With our guidance and their willingness to work, I think we will accomplish great things in the future."
