HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Dynamo has added four more players to its Player Development System (DPDS), signing Leobardo Vazquez, Josue Morales, Daniel Roberts, and Luis Matamoros.

The signings for all four players took place at the Houston Dynamo offices. Today's siginings bring the total to 14 players who have come on to the DPDS since its inception one month ago.

"Coming into the Dynamo Player Development System is a dream come true for me", said Vazquez. "I've worked very hard to get to this level, and know that this is only the beginning. Now, the sky is the limit as to where I can go"

"Seeing that Championship trophy on the table is a great motivation for me", said Morales. "I cherish the opportunity that I've been given, and look to someday bring another cup to Houston."

Vasquez, Morales, and Matamoros will be playing for the DPDS' U-15 squad, while Roberts will do so for the U-18 team. Vazquez currently plays forward for Queens Middle School and Aldine United at a club level. Morales, on the other hand, plays center midfielder for Stevenson Middle School and Texans FC. Roberts also plays center midfielder for Clements High School and Texans Socceer Club. Finally, Matamoros plays forward for St. Francis Episcopal School and Texas Premier.

"We have a lot of hard work ahead," said Roberts. "In spite of that, I know that we will be in very good hands, coached by the best people, and given a great deal of attention. I can't wait to start playing.

"I know that this is a great organization, and I have every intention of staying here for a long time", said Matamoros. "I am ready to give it my all on the field."

It is precisely that desire and work ethic which made Dynamo Director of Youth Development James Clarkson select these four players.

"These four players are incredibly talented, and, most importantly, they want to succeed. I feel that they will do very well with the right coaching and guidance", said Clarkson.
