Dynamo Academy Player of the Year
Matt is on the U-18 squad and graduates Monsignor Kelly HS in Beaumont, Texas, this year. He plays club soccer for TSC Texans and has represented South Texas Youth Soccer ODP. Matt has given a verbal commitment to attend Denver University on a soccer scholarship.
Matt plays right midfield and was selected for every Dynamo event in 07.
"He has excellent character and represents the Dynamo well on and off the field," said Dynamo Director of Development, James Clarkson. "Matt travels from Beaumont and never misses a session, he is on the home-grown protected player list and hopefully we will see him playing for the full Dynamo team in the coming years."
Abe Matamoros -- Dynamo Academy Players Player of the Year
Abe attends Strake Jesuit HS and plays club soccer for Texas Premier; he also represents South Texas Youth Soccer ODP.
"Abe received the most votes from all the other players in the Academy," said Clarkson. "Abe is an U-15 player but plays up on the U-18 roster. He has been very consistent over the last year and is competing very well in the older age group."
